Meanwhile, FC IfeanyiUbah chairman, Mr. Chukwuma Ubah on Wednesday held an emergency meeting with officials and coaching crew of the club in the aftermath of the morning training session to discuss and set strategies on the forthcoming season.

During the meeting/interactive session, Chukwuma Ubah reminded the officials of the club on the huge task ahead which he regarded as challenging and that all hands must be on deck in order to achieve the set goals, objectives and aspiration for the 2017 year. The chairman said that the Anambra Warriors have succeeded in building a brand which is “FC IfeanyiUbah” and everyone affiliated to the club must protect the brand by putting in the best of their ability.

The Chairman further called on players as well as officials of the club to work cooperatively, bearing in mind that the club have a great task in the forthcoming football season both in the NPFL and CAF Confederation Cup. According to him the Proprietor of the Club, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has promised full support to the team in their quest to be victorious in all the competitions involved come this season.

In his reaction, Team Manager, Mr. Jonathan J. Igwe reminded the house that FC IfeanyiUbah as an entity is one big family which cannot be defeated. He opined that unity is the strength of the Anambra Warriors and with collective effort of all, the club will achieve greater things.

Also in a bid to foster unity and cohabitation, Players and officials were thrilled to special entertainment by the management of FC IfeanyiUbah with good delicacies, sumptuous meals and assorted drinks to mark the advent of the New Year celebration in the process thanking God for success recorded in the previous season while praying for better outings in the 2017 football season.
