Man Kills Friend Over Dog Meat in FESTAC, Lagos.

Man murdered friend in Lagos 

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a 27-year-old welder, Sunday Hycinth, for allegedly killing his friend, Onwe Ozoemelem, in the FESTAC Town area of the state.

It was learnt that Hycinth and 26-year-old Ozoemelem, both from Ebonyi State, had engaged in fisticuffs over a N500 dog meat bought by a resident.

The suspect was alleged to have hit the victim with fist blows on the chest, after which he slumped and was rushed to a hospital, where he died.

Hycinth was subsequently arrested by policemen from the FESTAC division before the case was transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba.

The suspect said he worked as a welder around the Waterside area of FESTAC.
