Jungle Justice: Two Suspected Robbers Burnt To Death In Onitsha. See Photos

An angry mob in Onitsha, Anambra State, took the laws into their hands and burnt down two armed robbers in an unprecedented jungle justice.

The mob, tired of the incessant robbery attacks they have been experiencing in the city of Onitsha, Anambra State, resorted to jungle justice when they nabbed two armed robbery suspects after they snatched a woman's handbag, and burnt them to ashes before the police could come to their rescue.

According to reports, the hoodlums were said to be terrorising residents of Onitsha and other neighbouring communities till they met their waterloo when they were caught and set ablaze after they were terrible beaten.

According to a citizen reporter who sent the gory pictures to CFR Magazine this evening, the criminals had robbed a woman at first-gate, Ngbuka Obosi, who had just come into the town to transact her business, when they snatched her handbag and ran away on a motorcycle. Unfortunately, the handbag contained just N5000.

Luck, however, ran out of them as an on-coming vehicle hit their bike and they both fell off.

Those who were watching the incident immediately mobilized themselves, turned to a mob, arrested the two robbers and set them ablaze."

About a fortnight ago, a young man was equally lynched in Lagos for allegedly robbing a woman of her mobile phone.

JUNGLE JUSTICE is never the solution. Fellow Nigerians, let us unite against this menace before it becomes a culture(if it's not already)
