Akwa-Ibom Church tragedy: Federal Government Doctors Operate 30 Victims

The Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, has said a team of medical experts sent by the Federal Government to Akwa Ibom State, has successfully operated 30 of the surviving victims of the collapsed Reigners Bible Church Int’l Inc in Uyo.

The operated victims, the minister said, were among the critically injured persons in the church building collapse, which happened last Saturday.

 According to a statement made available to news men on Thursday, the team, in a report on Thursday, told the minister that a total of 30 surgical patients were presented to them and they had successfully completed all procedures.
