The two Premier League teams will clash at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, for the title and a ticket to represent Nigeria at the 2017 CAF confederation Cup.
Midfielders Tamen Medrano and Maduabuchi Okereke say the Nnewi team, who are currently training in Ibadan, are ready to lift the trophy.
Okereke, who spoke after the team’s training session, said they would take the final seriously.
“I can’t wait for Sunday because I am very sure we are going to rise to the occasion,” Okereke said in a statement by the club.
Cameroonian Medrano, who has played every Federation Cup match for the Anambra Warriors this season, said the team would win the title.
“We have set our eyes on the trophy and we are sure of wining it. Our preparations have gone very well and I can say that the mood in camp is that of unity.
“We are on a mission, which is to win the Federation Cup. Every day I wake up, I look at the picture of the trophy on my phone, it motivates me. I also know that my teammates are very motivated too and we will do our best to win the trophy.”
The Punch.
