BREAKING NEWS: Car Crushes Woman To Death In Anambra

A Mercedes Benz with number plate, AL 828 AWK, crushed a woman to death, around 7 am today, October 17th, 2016 at Uboma, along Ukpor-Isseke-Awka-Etiti expressway, Ukpor, Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State. The deceased was said to be Mrs Theresa Osigwe, a choir mistress of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish Lilu in Ihiala L. G. A. 


According to reports,  she was on her way to Afor Ukpor market after morning mass that ill-fated day.

According to our correspondent who was at the scene of the accident, the car was heading towards Isseke when the driver lost control and hit the woman while trying to avoid hitting a young boy who was riding a tyre on the expressway. 

It was reported that the young boy was unhurt. 

As at 8 am, the time of filing this report, the lifeless body of the woman was still lying at the scene while the driver rushed to the Police station to make report.
