APC Chieftain, Franklin Obi, Wife And Son Finally Buried

The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain who was gruesomely murdered by assassins in Rivers state has been laid to rest along with his wife and son.


Two weeks to the March 19 legislative rerun in Rivers State, masked gunmen beheaded a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Franklin Obi, along with his wife and 18-year-old son, Bestman Obi. 

This had happened two days after he moderated a large successful Omoku zonal meeting of the All Progressive Congress.

Late Comrade Franklin Obi, before his untimely death, was the Ward iv chairman in Omoku, the headquarters of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State.

The assailants took the head of the APC leader away, while the daughter of the deceased, Victory, cried at the sight of the gruesome killing of her dad, mum and brother.
