Pep Guardiola allowed himself some time off from the training ground as he was pictured in Manchester city centre on Monday.


The City boss was spotted with wife Cristina Serra as well as some members of his coaching staff, including fitness specialist Lorenzo Buenaventura.

He guided his side to their eighth consecutive victory on Saturday as they demolished Bournemouth 4-0 at the Etihad.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona manager has, however, played down City's success so far.

He has dismissed the suggestion that they will win the Premier League title comfortably as well as being talked about as potential Champions League winners.

'So Manchester City arrived in their lives in the Champions League semi-final once,' he said.

People believe I am going to win the Champions League because I am a really good coach. I don't think so, guys.

'My happiness does not depend on if I am going to win all the titles or not. 

'My target is now to be happy today, drink a little bit wine, and tomorrow prepare for the (Swansea) game.'
