Pandemonium At Nkpor Market As Woman Mistakenly Takes Abducted Twins To Their Mother

 By John Ikwuanusi.

Nkpor—There was pandemonium at the popular Nkpor main market, near Onitsha, Anambra State on Thursday as a woman was beaten to a pulp for allegedly kidnapping two kids who happened to be twins.

According to our correspondent, the yet-to-be identified woman who is in her early 40s allegedly abducted the children and took them to the popular Nkpor new parts market to buy new clothes for them.

Coincidentally,  she took the kids to their mother's shop. The mother of the kids immediately identified them and raised an alarm.

The suspect wanted to run but was apprehended.

The irate mob, however, didn’t relent; they eventually caught up with her and meted jungle justice on her, but for the intervention of Policemen from Nkpor Division, the suspect was rescued.

A police officer who didn’t want his name mentioned in print, told newsmen the suspect would be investigated thoroughly.

 More details later
