French Olympic Walker, Yohann Diniz, Poos Himself Mid-Race But Carries On Like A Boss

A French athlete battled through an extremely sticky situation after he suffered the unfortunate ignominy of pooing himself 15km into the men’s Olympic 50km walking race.

Yohann Diniz’s plight was caught on camera with brown stains running down the back of his legs after soiling his pants midway through the contest.

Diniz Covered  With Poo

Diniz was the favourite to clinch gold in Rio and is the world record holder. But once illness kicked in he struggled to dominate the pack.

World champion Matej Toth of Slovakia, eventually won the race ahead of London 2012 gold medallist Jared Tallent of Australia in second and Japan’s Hirooki Arai bronze.

You’ve got to feel pretty sorry for Diniz, who eventually finished in a creditable 11th place, seeing his Olympic dreams end in such humiliating fashion.Despite all the issues he encountered, the 38-year-old proved himself to be a true Olympic hero by refusing to give up and persevering.
