The Enugu state commissioner of police Cp Emmanuel Ojukwu and the command's Public Relations Officer Sp Ebere Amaraizu have received their 13th Africa Security Watch Awards Nomination Letter for the lecture and award which will take place in November, 2016 at Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre, Fourways, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The Enugu state commissioner of Police Emmanuel Ojukwu received his nomination letter on the aspect of Conflict Resolution while the Enugu state Police Public Relations officer received his nomination letter for the award of MOST OUTSTANDING POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER IN WEST AND CENTRAL AFRICA.
According to the international coordinator/chief executive officer SECURITY WATCH AFRICA Patrick Agbambu, Security watch Africa has come of age and stands to celebrate Africa's excellence in different field of endeavour but majorly on security at all time. He further maintained that previous editions of the award took place in Nigeria,Ghana,South Africa, The Gambia, United Arab Emirates and United states of America and that this edition will be hosted in South Africa pointing out that the decision to nominate Ojukwu and Amaraizu were taken at the 2016 Awards panel of judges Retreat held in Stellenbosch,south Africa on June 27th-29th,2016.
Ojukwu was nominated because of his outstanding qualities in resolution of conflict while Amaraizu was nominated for Purposeful leadership, patriotism, professional expertise in handling dissemination of police information, community engagements in security information management in Enugu state of Nigeria.
Agbambu further maintained that the Award Gala Night is part of the 13th Africa Security Watch Awards conference and exhibition which holds on 14th to 17th November 2016 at Wallenberg Research Centre, Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch South Africa with the theme confronting land and maritime security challenges in Africa.
