Entertainment: Davido Set To Drop First Major Project Since Signing Sony Music Deal

Davido is set to make up for his lack of an album in four years with the release of a double Extended Play in September.

A deal with Sony Music earlier in the year came with high expectations for the singer, and his teeming fans will finally have an opportunity to see the impact of the deal on his music.

 
Yet to release a major solo song in 2016, he has announced that his double EP, titled Son of Mercy, will be released in a few weeks.

Davido, who promised in July that he was working on the ‘best music and videos I ever made in my life’, has severally teased a collaboration with American singer, Tinashe.
