Ngige |
The change, Ngige said, had become necessary because the All Progressive Grand Alliance leadership in the state had not met the people’s expectations.
He said the APC would take over in Anambra to continue the programmes he (Ngige) started in 2003.
Ngige stated this on Sunday while addressing journalists at Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area.
Ngige, who was governor of the state for 34 months before his sacking by the Court of Appeal, Enugu in 2006, said the APC would be in serious contention for the Government House in Awka during the next governorship election.
Declining to affirm whether he would contest the next year’s election or not, he noted that it was still early for anybody to start campaigning for the poll.
