Victor Umeh Denies Rift With Obiano Over Transition Chairmen

The attention of Chief Victor Umeh’s Senatorial Campaign Media Directorate has been drawn to a false and unfounded news story contained in page 42 of the Nation Newspapers of Tuesday 12th June 2016 captioned “Obiano, Umeh quarrel over Transition Chairmen”.

In the said news item the writer in his imagination tried to create the wrong impression that the Governor of the State Chief Willie Obiano is at war with

Chief Umeh former National Chairman of the party (APGA) and the Party’s Senatorial candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.

We wish to state here categorically, that the said sponsored story is the handwork of political evil merchants who do not wish the party and the State Government well.

Not only was the story completely false it contained very malicious insinuations initiated by the sponsors in order to misinform the public and party Faithfull’s on the relationship between Chief Umeh and the State Governor.

For the purpose of proper information and putting the facts crystal clear, there has never been any discussion either in private or public between Chief Umueh and Governor Obiano in relation to the issue of transition Chairmen, let alone disagreeing.

Chief Umueh’s relationship with the State Governor, Chief Obiano is very cordial and as solid as the rock of Gibraltar. No amount of evil wishes or plans will succeed in destroying the good image and relationship between Chief Umeh and Governor Obiano.

Chief Umeh is a good team player and respecter of constituted authority, it therefore follows that he is very supportive of Governor Obiano and the Anambra State Government.

Signed:

Prince Emeka Udodeme, Director General, Chief Sir, Dr. Victor Umeh Campaign Organization
