[PHOTOS] Man Stoned To Death, Roasted For Stealing Three Months Old Baby In Benue State

A man has been stoned and set ablaze in Gboko area of Benue State for allegedly stealing a three-month-old baby.

The man reportedly stole the baby, belonging to a certain Blessing Aondoakaa, from a house situated at Bristow roundabout on Wednesday afternoon.

The suspect was said to be on his way to Anambra State when nemesis caught up with him.

The development is coming barely two weeks after two kidnapping suspects were burnt alive in the same Gboko area of the state.

According to a resident, “We just heard the baby’s mother screaming ‘thief, thief’ and we came out only to see the boy running with the baby.

“Some boys in the area collected the baby and started beating him while the others were looking for tyre and calling more people to come out.

“He was begging and crying but the other boys did not listen. He was stoned to death and eventually set ablaze,” the source added.
