EXCLUSIVE! THE UNTOLD STORY BEHIND THE 6 KIDS ALLEGEDLY POISONED IN ANAMBRA

Some of our reporters paid a condolence visit to Apostle Chukwuma Oramalu, father of the six children who died after eating a food prepared for them by their elder brother.

Last week, the news was all over the internet about the death of six children in a mysterious and unclear circumstances after eating lunch in Ekwulummili, Nnewi South local government area of Anambra state. Click HERE to read the earlier report with pictures as THE MAGAZINE exclusively reported.

It was raining heavily when our reporters arrived Ekwulumili today, Saturday July 23rd, 2016 to pay a condolence visit to Oramalu's family over the heartbreaking death of their 6 children and equally to ascertain if the autopsy results are out.

“I have seen hell on earth since the death of my children. Sometimes I wonder if this is real or just a movie. I had seven kids but now left with one after the unfortunate incident. But that's not my major problem now. My wife is still traumatized. She's behaving like someone who is about running mad. You're lucky to meet me here. We left the house after my kids were taken to the mortuary. I just came here to pick some clothes. I don't stay far away from her before she does something else.

Some people are accusing me of using my dead kids for "sacrifice" because of my faith. I'm a bonafide member of Olumba-Olumba, and I've been practicing it for 31 years. I didn't sacrifice my kids in my youthful years, is it now that I'm getting old? My Diokpala(eldest son) was 17 years old, followed by others 15, 13, 11, 9 and 6. The lastborn who is 3 years old is my only child now. So, tell me, why are people so wicked and quick in conclusion?

The eldest of them all was about to go for apprenticeship in August before the tragedy occurred. Two of my sons were supposed to participate in junior WAEC which is currently ongoing in the State. I'm just like a "walking dead" but I still leave everything to God Almighty. I have a strong faith and believe God knows everything.

The Assistant Superintendent of Police was here the other day and promised to get to the root of the matter. The autopsy is too expensive and has not yet been carried out, but Ekwulumili Development Union E. D. U promised to take care of everything including the burial.

I would've been lynched by the youths on Thursday because, according to them, a particular man of God told them I have a hand in the death of my kids. I ask again, why would someone intentionally poison his 6 children? My wife and I would probably have been dead too if we equally ate the food, but both of us were very sick that day with a mysterious illness that disappeared immediately my children died. Everything was just weird.

The search of what happened to my kids is still ongoing both traditionally and otherwise. This afternoon a member of the executive committee called me to inform me that major culprits have been identified but they want to have more facts before making their findings public,” he added.
