Jamie Vardy Blocks His Lookalike On Social Media Because He Needs To Protect His Image

The postman turned Jamie Vardy lookalike has been blocked by the England star on social media and warned he could face legal action if he damages the striker's image.

Lifelong Leicester City fan Lee Chapman, 29, found himself in the spotlight thanks to his uncanny resemblance to the Foxes' star man, and was even invited onto the team's bus as they celebrated their historic Premier League win.

Mr Chapman has taken time off work to cash in as a professional lookalike, but now relations between him and his idol appear to have turned sour after he was reportedly blocked by both Vardy, 29, and his new wife Rebekah Nicholson, 34, on Twitter and Instagram.

According to The Sun, Vardy's agent has also sent Mr Chapman a text message, warning him against putting the striker's endorsement deals at risk as he seeks to protect his client's image.

Mr Chapman's agent, James Austin from Lookalikes Agency told MailOnline: 'This happened a week ago.

'Fans started getting in touch with Lee on Twitter and Instagram asking "why isn't Vardy following you anymore? Why has he blocked you?"

'We didn't know anything about it but when we checked he had blocked Lee.
