The Uruguayan has become the first person in the Spanish top
flight to score four goals in back-to-back games.
Luis Suarez has become the first player in La Liga history to score
four goals in consecutive games.
The Uruguayan struck four times in the 8-0 victory over Deportivo
La Coruna on Wednesday, and he achieved the same feat in the
6-0 demolition of Sporting Gijon on Saturday evening.
Suarez has now taken his tally to 53 goals for Barcelona this
season which is a new personal best since he scored 49 goals in
48 games for Ajax in the 2009-10 campaign.
Suarez, Lionel Messi and Neymar have also equalled last season’s
record of scoring 122 goals between them with four games
remaining.
