At home, the lawyer that Rishab called told them that there is no hope because the case has been escalated to the appropriate authorities. Everyone is shocked, But Prithvi is excited because his evil plans is working and he shot an arrow in the air, the arrow hit two preys at once. Preeta insists that they must find a solution Preeta also asks Shrishti if she informed Maa of the situation, Shrishti replied that Maa may have an heart attack. Sarla Preeta's Mom comes into the place and Preeta sees her from behind so Preeta hugged Sarla happy she is here that a solution will be out. Meanwhile, in another room, Kareena is seen crying because Karan is accused of having drugs, so Sherlin comes to sit with Kareena, Sherlin says bad things about Mahesh that Mahesh doesn't want to help save Karan and Rishab. Sherlin also said that Mahesh is also annoyed with Rakhi and he won't apologise to Kareena and Sherlin also said that she's sure that Mahesh doesn't care about the Luthra Family and he doesn't consider Kareena important in this house.

Sherlin promised to take care of Kareena and back her up in every decision when she ties the knot with Rishab and Sherlin also told her to be calm whilst she brings Kareena a glass of water to drink. At the police station, Sarla tries to get the inspector's attention but the inspector refused to attend to her. The inspector says that Sarla is the only person that is calm and ready to understand the situation and he also told Sarla that he was at Karan’s bail and there is every possibility that Karan is guilty because Karan was caught red-handed with drugs. Sarla replies that she knows that whosoever is in possession of drugs must be jailed and punished but she's very certain that Karan is not that kind of person he know Karan to be humble and not egoistic and he is known by so many people for his good deeds.

Sarla also tries to explain to the inspector that when she first met Karan she didn’t understand and liked his kind of person but now she knows that he is a very good and nice individual. While Sarla was explaining to the inspector, the inspector considers Sarla as a homely, cool and nice woman but the young ones here don't know how to behave nicely therefore he advices them to get a daring life. Sarla tries to convince the inspector that she knows Karan very well, Sarla narrates an incidence that occurred a few days ago when she slapped Karan and Karan wasn't angry then how do you expect someone like that to touch drugs he is innocent I'm very sure of that. The inspector replies Sarla that he respects her like his mother. Sarla then asks the inspector that what if Karan was caught in any different offense but drugs, would he had released him? The inspector replied that maybe he would release him.

Sarla then begs him to free or release Rishab because he hasn't done any crime Rishab only saw how People was insulting and calling Karan names so he became angry; Sarla says Rishab was angry as an elder brother that the inspector should have prevented the media from coming into the police station, Sarla also tells the inspector that if he considers her as a mother please pity me and release Rishabhi. The inspector considers Sarla for a while and orders the release of Rishab. Preeta is happy and hugged Sarla. Rishab is freed to go home, he held Sarla’s hands in gratitude. Sarla is emotional and cries, Rishab tells her not to cry and hugged her.

Mahesh comes to the police station and sees Rishab and hugged him. Rishab tells Mahesh that he has called the commissioner to help them out of this issue he also asked him to do something legal. Mahesh asks them to go home and requests Sarla to go home with them as well. Rishab requests him to meet meet Karan. Mahesh replied that he has told Rakhi that he won’t meet Karan until he investigates the case properly. At home, Rakhi is seen crying in her room and calling out for Karan. She is tensed and waits for her sons. Sherlin decides to be the elder daughter in law of the family, and brings her a glass of water. She says she always found Rakhi smiling, and can’t see her sad this way. Rakhi says two of her gems have been in lock up, she wonders how the drugs came to Karan from where.

Sherlin smirks and thinks to herself that she is aware how everything happened. Sherlin tries to console Rakhi and assures Rakhi that Mahesh will bring them back home. Kratika comes to inform Rakhi that Rishab is home, and Preeta and Sarla are also there. Sherlin wonders why Preeta came here? Karan speaks to a lady inspector if his father came to take his brother? She tells him it was Preeta’s mother who convinced the inspector to release Rishab. The lady flirted, when two other men were brought to lock up. They recognize Karan as a star and says they are sure Karan was trapped in a drug case. Karan tells the fellow criminals that the shorter among the two girls (Preeta) isn’t his girlfriend, but if she suits him? They say she is a made for each other for Karan, love is evident from her eyes. Karan thinks about Preeta.

Rakhi hugs Rishab, she asks about Karan and cries shouting continuously for Karan. Mahesh now shouts at her to calm down, he brought Preeta with him to help sort the matter. He asks Preeta to calm down and tell if she met Karan at the time of his arrest. He asks why they had to go to City Zone Club. She must tell him each of detail, it’s important for them to know what happened there; else he will consider her responsible for whatever is happening. Preeta says she called him to the club. Rakhi interferes, but Mahesh angrily stops her from speaking any further. Preeta thinks about Sherlin, stares at her. Mahesh repeats his question. Rishab gets a call from the lawyer, he screams at Mr. Khanna that he was alone in police station. The lawyer says he wanted to give a solution about the drug’s matter. Rishab must have kept himself calm in police station. Rishab instead shouts even louder, he was furious that the lawyer left the police station while his brother was still in jail. He leaves the hall while speaking on phone. Sherlin was worried about Preeta’s stinging stare at her. Sherlin also goes to get her mother’s call.

In the room, Sherlin cautiously takes Prithvi’s call. He asks Sherlin about the details in Luthra house. Sherlin says everyone is upset here, but Mahesh has brought Preeta and family here. He wants all the details and Preeta is staring at her as if she will tell them about every detail about them. Prithvi assures Sherlin that Preeta won’t take any such action. Preeta and Karan must have decided to collect a proof against her, and they must have come to the club for the same reason. Rishab comes from behind. Sherlin poses to be talking to her mother. Rishab asks to speak to her, but Sherlin cuts the call saying her mom was angry at her to give him more tension.

Meanwhile they were in the hall, Rishab is furious with the Lawyer and informed Kareena that he fired the lawyer because the Lawyer was useless and stood there doing nothing to bring solution. Mahesh tells Rishab to be calm Mahesh also advices Rishab that being angry won’t solve the matter. Rishab tells them that he will call another good legal person. Mahesh scolds Rishab and tells him to cut the call that the other Lawyer may accuse him of hitting the police that the best thing to do is to know how everything transpired now. Mahesh asks Preeta that he knows that only her knows the truth and she has to tell them everything that happened both the seen and unseen then they will know if someone is trying to blackmail Karan or if it was a coincidence or mistake. Rishab then said that he supports what Mahesh has said now.

Mahesh asks Preeta to tell him if Karan takes the drugs, or some of his friends does; this can help them. Preeta says Karan has no bad company, she is sure Karan didn’t have any drugs and had no idea what was happening. Someone might have trapped him. Kareena curtly questions why even Preeta went to the club. Preeta’s family now questions why she went to the club, if Karan went there. Rishab says Karan went to the Club for some personal task. He thinks he can’t tell Preeta he was finding proof against Prithvi. Sherlin thinks Prithvi was right, Preeta won’t open her mouth against her without a proof.

Kareena blames Preeta for Karan being in jail, else why would Karan go there. He must have gone to help Preeta. Even at the time of her roka, Karan and Rishab put their lives at stake for her. She is a curse for her children. Shrishti counters Kareena but she insists it’s because of Preeta that Karan is in jail. She brings bad luck for them Luthra’s. Sarla asks Preeta to tell her anything she knows. Preeta says she has told them whatever she knew. Sarla says she can’t bear her insult anymore. Mahesh stops them, and tells Preeta there is something still missing from the chain. Sarla apologizes, as Kareena is insulting Preeta. Rakhi now questions Kareena why she hates Preeta so much. Preeta looks towards Mahesh recalling how he called himself as her father. Sarla takes Preeta’s hand to leave. Preeta turns around, and tells Mahesh she called Karan to the Club. She knows a truth no one is aware of. Sherlin has an affair. Everyone now turn to look at Sherlin now.

Kareena hearing all that Preeta said clapped her hands, Kareena calls Preeta a liar that she's not saying the truth that even though Preeta and Karan went there to search for a proof against Sherlin that Karan didn’t even succeed to see the guy Sherlin was with and this implies that the guy doesn't exist. Preeta replies Kareena that she knows the kind of lady Sherlin is that she has no good character. Sherlin requests Rishab to defend her but Rishab doesn't but instead asks Sherlin what does she want him to say, everything is taking him unawares. Kareena tells them that she can  explain she accused Preeta of causing a break up between Sherlin and Rishab that she had a golden opportunity to weave a story to break Sherlin and Rishab’s proposal just for Karan that Preeta has always been against Sherlin and is blaming Sherlin because she hates Sherlin.

Mahesh shouted at Kareena for spoiling the issue, he asks Kareena who she is to decide who is right or wrong. Sarla tries to support Preeta, but Kareena finally said that they have decided to break the engagement between Sherlin and Rishab. They have also decided to marry Preeta to Rishabh. Kareena insists that the decision is final. Sarla is very annoyed  and informs Preeta that the rich cannot always get all they want. Preeta sobs and cries and begs Sarla for forgiveness. Kareena also said that Preeta is not saying the truth that she's lying that Sherlin was not in the Club that day, Sherlyn went shopping for her wedding dress since today. Shrishti enquires from Kareena if she saw Sherlin shopping today and Shristi suggests they watch CCTV footage of Club. Rakhi also replies that she has seen Sherlin at home around 4.30. Preeta stated that the raid happened at about 1 pm. Rishab then supports Shristi that they should watch the CCTV footage of the Club. There, Preeta tells Sherlin to go with them to the club but Sherlin refuses that she needs to get her purse from the room. Everybody in the house looks at Sherlin in a suspicious way and they were alert.
