Ozubulu Massacre: Over 50 Catholic priests in Ozubulu as Bishop Ikegwuonu buries Dad

Yesterday, 12th January 2018, over 50 Catholic Priests, Bishops, Rev. Sisters were at Ozubulu as "Bishop" Ikegwuonu buried his father Ichie Cyprian Otuadinma Ikegwuonu in style.


Late Ichie Ikegwuonu died with 8 others on Sunday, August 6th 2017 when unknown gunmen stormed a church in the area and opened fire immediately. Few arrests were made with little or no success so far.

The governor of Anambra state, Chief Willie Obiano who arrived the scene of the shooting shortly after the incident said police investigation showed it was as a result of "disagreement between two brothers residing in South Africa" while many others tagged the shooting a "drug war"

High Chief Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwuonu ('Bishop' Ebubechukwuzo Ozubulu) who spoke after the church service thanked the church for their tremendous and unwavering support throughout the trying times.
