How APGA Won Nnewi South – The Real Story [Episode one]

Her Excellency, Mrs. Ebele Obiano and Chief Dr. Mrs Nkoli Imoh during the empowerment of over 5000 widows by Adadioramma foundation.
The 2017 Anambra gubernatorial election has come and gone but the stories keep reverberating across the state.

Nnewi South LGA voted massively for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to re-elect the incumbent governor, Chief Willie Obiano (Akpokuedike Aguleri) with a total of 10,465 votes as against 3,255 and 2,765 for the PDP and APC respectively.

Adadioramma with the Governor of Anambra state, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano in Aguleri shortly after the Anambra guber election result was announced by INEC.
In today's episode, we'll highlight the influence and activities of a political heavyweight from the local government, Chief Dr. Mrs. Nkoli Imoh (Adadioramma), the founder of Adadioramma Foundation.

Obviously, there were scepticism and tension in Anambra South as regards the will of the people prior to the election which was held on Saturday, November 18th,  2017.

The last minute 'entrants' into the party caused a hurricane effect across all the major opposition political parties in the region at the 11th hour, starting from Nnewi to Ukpor to Osumenyi.
In Nnewi, Capital Oil Boss, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah led the onslaught from Nnewi North LGA, defeating Dozie Ikedife and Mrs Onyemelukwe, the APC and PDP deputy governorship aspirants respectively in their ward.

In Osumenyi, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu who also defected to the party collapsed his structure into the winning party.

Also,  in Ukpor, the last minute support from Chief Dr. Mrs Nkoli Imoh (Adadioramma) and her numerous supporters aided APGA's victory across the six wards in the town, Nnewi South LGA and the entire state.
Chief Mrs. Imoh proved to be a General that leads from the front line, using the wide reach of her foundation which has over 300 members in every ward in Anambra state.

She was out there on election day moving from ward to ward, polling unit to polling unit ensuring total victory for APGA.

Her entrance into the race made victory certain in some of the places in Ukpor.

As far away as Ogbaru, Anyamelum and other places, Adadioramma used her enormous financial power to ensure that APGA didn't lack the needed resources on election day.
According to reports, Adadioramma reached out to supporters and leaders of other political parties and convinced them on the need to support Willie Obiano for a second term. This caused a major shift in supporting APGA at the last minute and left other parties with no time to react resulting in definite victory in ukpor, Nnewi south and some areas in the state.

To be continued.......watch out for the next heavyweight.
