[Watch Video] Tension As Military Helicopter Arrives Nnamdi Kanu's Residence

There's tension in Umuahia as military helicopters arrive the capital city of Abia state.

The standoff between Nigerian soldiers and members of the Indigenous People's Of Biafra (IPOB) looks like it's not ending anytime soon.

According to video shared online by a die-hard IPOB member, Somto Okonkwo, a military helicopter was seen hovering around the residence of IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Their mission is still unknown.

A member of IPOB identified as Nnamdi Obi said the military helicopter has been hovering over Kanu's country home since morning.

According to him, IPOB members have been keeping vigil at Kanu's house since Sunday night.

He said the group was undeterred by "all the strategies being deployed by military" to disperse them.

"If you stay here, you will see them threaten us with their helicopter, they are flying high and low, threatening innocent civilians but we're not deterred at all.

"Over a thousand IPOB members have been keeping vigil here at our leader's house. If they plan to kill him, they will kill all of us first. All I can say is that Biafra is here already," he said.

  4. If Buhari must complete his tenure, he should allow Nnamdi KANU to bury his parents peacefully but if he want Biafra to withstand this month, let him order the Nigerian Military to action.immediately you must see it.
