PDP Anambra Guber Primaries: Ifeanyi Ubah explodes, narrates how he was rigged out.

As controversies continue to trail the just concluded Anambra governorship primary election for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, the MD Capital Oil and Gas Ltd and a guber candidate on the platform of the party in a program titled, "Focus Nigeria with Gbenga Arureba on African Independent Television (AIT) talked about what he described as the charade that characterized the PDP's guber primaries in Anambra state.

Explaining what happened at the primaries, Ubah said:

"When Governor Nyesom Wike and Ayo Fayose came to Anambra state to conduct delegates election that will produce a three man delegate from each Ward, they asked us to go to our various wards for the exercise.

"After the exercise which was supervised by the INEC, it was signed and sent to Abuja and a Certified True Copy (CTC) was produced and given to us.

"But on Saturday, prior to the primary election, another list was produced.

"We viewed the list and found out it was doctored by Peter OBI and Nyesom Wike in Port-harcourt.

"When we got to the place where the delegates were lodged, we saw another set of people as delegates.

"The fact is that I was with Governor Wike in Port-Harcourt a day before the primary election, I pleaded with him till 3am not to kill PDP in Anambra state by doctoring the delegates list but as a hatchet man and the architect of PDP's crisis, he turned deaf ears to me.

"Governor Ayo Fayose did not fully participate in the rigging but has a problem of not speaking out against a script Wike came to act and I wonder why Wike should have a wicked mindset of coming to Anambra state to disenfranchise those who helped him to become governor.

"I wonder why Ali modus Sheriff could conduct free and fair senatorial primaries in Osun but Makarfi sent those that will rig election in Anambra state.

"Oseloka Obaze was brought by Peter OBI not to win election but to use him to fight for N7bn which he said he used to make Obiano governor.

"I'm challenging OBI to a debate on the N7bn with evidences.

"Twenty two members of Caretakers committee passed vote of no confidence  on the primaries and this is just part one of all I have to say. It will get to part seven though they have been coming to me pleading but that's not the issue because PDP must get it right this time."

MY HONEST TAKE: THOSE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOUSES MUST NOT THROW STONE

Only individuals who refuse to be gu ided by history will continue to think that they can through whatever form of propaganda, denigration or whatever pull Obi down.

On the contrary, Okwute has continued to be the cat with nine lives. The harder they futilely try to hit him, the more popular and higher he soars while his detractors continue to kiss the dust on their way to political or social oblivion.

If you think I'm lying, ask His Excellency Gov. Obiano and his propagators in a closet. And I say this without prejudice to whatever might have allegedly transpired at the PDP primaries since I'm not a member of the party and therefore not in a position to affirm or dispute the allegations flying here and there.

Yet I do know and can affirm that some of those now complaining were central and did played pivotal roles in the daylight robbery and jerking of mandates clearly handed some APGA candidates in the 2015 National Assembly election.

The ugly and graver atrocities replicated in Ihiala, Nnewi North and Nnewi South while some of those commenting here clapped are still very fresh in the minds of those who deeply participated in that election. Have they not heard that what goes around comes around?

Abegi! People should allow sleeping dogs lie and not tug the tail of the tiger. Else, those can of worms may be reopened by parties hurt in the process who have graphic and electronic evidence of some of the very shameful rape of the people's mandate.

That individuals like Tai, Valentine Amala Ulasi, Patrick Nki Obi, Val Obienyem and a host of others have all maturely and expectedly lied low while this is going on should not be taken as a sign of weakness.

I implore the young and not too young not to subscribe to or embrace sheepish followership for clearly personal reasons and/or interest which is what is indisputably at the heart of most of those hyping this post PDP primary furore.

Those who live in glass houses MUST not throw stones - that's a cliche the wise always keep close to heart no matter how angered they may be.

Okwu okenye; ka Chineke nye anyi amamihe!
