Update On How Ritualist, Ifeanyi Dike Escaped From Police Custody In Port'Hacourt

Ifeanyi Dike who raped and killed an eight year-old-girl for ritual purposes in Port Harcourt and later escaped from police Cell was assisted by one police officer named Jumbo according the late girl's father.

There are very little details of the said Ifeanyi Dike on Facebook because his last posts was in 2015.

According to the father of the late girl, the police man ensuring that Dike makes his statement asked him to buy purewater for the boy when he complained that he needed water because he was tasty. He refused buying and shouted at the Officer for even asking him to buy water for the boy who killed his daughter.

The officer used his own personal 20 naira, went outside, bought the water and gave to Ifeanyi Dike. After he finished drinking the water, the officer took the boy out from the questioning Room and while on their way to send the boy into the detention room, the officer started shouting "catch him, he is running, help me".

Since there was NO Light, they do not know where the boy ran to, whether he jumped the fence or went through the back gate, he really can't tell.

When the DPO came back to the station, he noticed that there was no light at the station and wondered why they refused putting on the Generator because it's already 7:30pm. He then asked about the Boy that was recently caught and the IPO said the boy has escaped.

The DPO ordered for his arrest and called other police officers to move in search of the Boy.
