BREAKING: Court restrains Agbaso from holding APGA primaries.

The Nnewi High Court has granted an order restraining Martin Agbaso led APGA leadership from holding the primaries of the party for the November 18 governorship election.

The Court presided over by Justice Chukwudi Okaa, gave the order at Nnewi.

In a suit no. HN/149/2017
Motion no. HN/901m/17

Between

Dr Victor Ikechukwu Oye APGA National Chairman & 21 others as plaintiffs/applicants

And

Chief Okechukwu Nkoloagu, Comrade Jerry Obasi, Comrade Chuks Nwoga, Chief Martin Agbaso, INEC As Defendants

The court ordered as follows;

That the 1st -4th defendants by themselves, their agents, privies or otherwise are restrained from taking any steps towards organizing, conducting or holding any Congress or primary election and or conducting or holding any such Congress, conference or primary election in the name of All Progressives Grand Alliance and for the purpose of selecting/nominating any Gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance for the forth coming 2017 Anambra State Governorship Election pending the hearing and determination of the Substantive Motion on Notice.

Meanwhile an unconfirmed report from Appeal Court Enugu states that Olanipekun, SAN has gone back to the Appellate Court and refiled the stay of execution order.
