PHOTOS: Livi Adili Foundation organizes quiz competition, rolls out scholarship program in Nnewi South

Livi Adili Foundation, a non governmental organization with its head office in Ukpor Anambra State, organized first phase of quiz competition for Secondary school in Nnewi South Local Government, today, 3rd June 2017.

The schools that made it to the event are; Ukpor High school, Ukpor community sec. Sch, Awor Ezimuzo community sec. sch. Ezinifite, Ebe Unity college, Community high school Akwaihedi and Comm. High school Ezinifite.
The questions were picked from different subjects which include: Use of Igbo language, Mathematics, English language, Civic and Current Affairs.
At the end of the competition, Ebe Unity College came first with 26 points while Community Sec School Ezinifite and Ukpor High School came second and third with 25 and 23 points respectively.
Dignitaries at the event include: a representative of Department of State Security Services DSS, Thomas Ayodele; representative of Nigeria Police force, DSP Stephen Ugwu(DCO Ukpor Police Station); representative of N.S.L.G, Mrs Uchenna Anasiudu and as well as teachers, friends and families of the  students.

In his speech, the Chairman of the foundation, Hon Okolie Chukwunonye said the major aim of the program is to minimize poverty in our society and also encourage the students. He also said that Livi Adili Foundation will award scholarship to all the students who participated in the program irrespective of their position in the competition.

Mrs Uchenna Anasiudu who represented Nnewi South Local Government, applauded the founder, Hon. Livinus Adili for all his efforts in trying to give back to the society despite the state of Nigeria's economy today. She equally advised the participating students to leverage on the kind gesture and put more efforts in their studies.
Also, DSP Stephen Ugwu, who  represented the Nigeria Police Force commended the organization for what he termed 'a new phase in our society' and stated that the reason they came was because Livi Adili Foundation is legal. He equally encouraged the students to work harder in other to justify the scholarship award they received today.

Speaking after the program, the CEO of cfrmagazine.com, Cmr. Nnaemeka Ikerionwu applauded the organizers for a free, fair and balanced competition without any prejudice whatsoever, and also gave kudos to the founder, Hon. Livinus Adili in his quest to reduce illiteracy in our society to the barest minimum.



First position: Ebe Unity College — 26 points

Second: Community Sec. School Ezinifite — 25 points

Third: Ukpor High School — 23 points

Fourth: Comm. High school Ezinifite — 19 points 

Fifth: Comm Sec. Sch. Akwaihedi — 18 points

Sixth: Ukpor comm. Sec. School — 17 points
