BREAKING: South African Police chokes Nigerian man to death in Durban [Photos]

A South African-based Nigerian, Chibuike Okafor, has been reportedly beaten to death by police officers in Durban Central, KwaZuluNatal, a prominent South African city on Friday, March 17th shortly after he was arrested and handcuffed, CFRmagazine.com exclusively reports.

Chibuike is from Ukpor, Nnewi South L.G.A, Anambra State.

According to our South African correspondent, Police stormed his business area in search of drug dealers. Others ran away but he didn't, because according to him, there was no need to run since he was innocent, but the police handcuffed him.
Chibuike protested and insisted he was innocent. Immediately one of the police officers held onto his neck and squeezed tightly until blood started gushing out from his mouth. He died thereafter.

He just relocated to South Africa from Nigeria.
