ZeeWorld: Friday November 2nd update on Gangaa

Gangaa says that a mother loves her kids so much. She makes her kids wear new clothes, get all dressed up then why would this mother tell her kids to wear white clothes. Amma asks her if she will compare humans to Goddess now. Gangaa says all of them are humans and asks how do they know what mother is thinking and how do they understand what’s going on in her mind?

Amma and everyone look at her in amazement  and speechlessly. Amma has no answer for her questions and warn her not to argue that this just cannot happen. Gangaa has understand it that everyone is fooling her and lying to her as they don’t want her to wear her beautiful clothes and jewelries. Amma realises that they are the culprit and tells her to see what she do with them now. She picks up Gangaa’s stuff and walks out of the temple. Gangaa follows her as Amma takes away her belongings, asking her to return her clothes to her and further asks where is she taking them?

Amma and Gangaa come home. Gangaa pulls at the little bag and insist that her father had brought them for her and she got them from Sudha aunt after so much difficulty and now she ( Amma) have taken them. Sagar too tells his grandma to give Gangaa’s stuff back to her but she tells him not to interfere in the matter and no one will say anything. She goes to her room. Madhvi stops Sagar from following his grandma as she is very angry. Amma locks Gangaa’s stuff in one of her trunks. Gangaa asks for it but Amma sticks to her point. She keeps the trunk on the top of the cupboard in her room out of Ganga’s reach saying they are of no use to her and that she ( Gangaa ) will neither get these things nor the key. She ties the key at the waist of her saree’s veil.

But Gangaa very boldly asks for the key and Amma vows not to give it back to Gangaa till her last breath. She ask why she is staring at her?. Gangaa walks toward her, without even blinking her eyes and clearly tells Amma that one day she will give them back to her on her own as they were given to her by her father and she will take them one day. She adds on that she won't leave them at all. Amma looks at her wide eyed and Gangaa leaves. Sagar rushes to Gangaa and asks if his grandma has kept her stuff?. Gangaa leaves from there without saying anything and Madhvi stops him from following Gangaa.

He angrily walks up to his grandma and asks why didn’t she give Gangaa’s stuff to her? He try to convince his grandma that Gangaa's father had brought them for her and plead with her to return all that to her as soon as possible. His grandma is angry that Sagar is talking to her like this for a girl whom he doesn’t even know properly. Sagar refuses to calm down even when his mother Madhvi tells him to. He tells his grandma that she will also feel bad if someone takes her things. Madhvi stops him and he sadly leaves from there and tells his grandma that she is very bad. Amma scolds and taunts Madhvi for not teaching anything good to Sagar as he doesn’t even know how to talk to elders and Madhvi have spoilt him.

Madhvi denies and tells Amma that she know she never teach anything wrong to the kids and that she infact stop them from doing so. But Amma is not interested in her explanations and she heads back to her room. Gangaa sadly recalls Amma’s words as she still has that little potli tied around her waist. She looks at the little cycle show piece inside it and says one day, she had cried as Munakka had stolen all the fruits that she had gathered. She told him not to do it but he fought with her and took them with him. But her (Gangaa) father had explained that tears don’t solve any problem and she know Munakka was wrong but nothing can happen if she get so upset about it.

He made a small loss but she is making a bigger loss by wasting her precious tears like this. He tells her to always remember one this, that world can snatch anything but they cannot snatch anyone’s fate. Adding that if someone can snatch her things forcefully but no one can snatch her smile from her. They share a cute moment then and flashback ends.
Sagar comes there and he is relieved to see her smile again. She tells him what her father had told her once and vow that she won't let anyone snatch anything from her when she grow up. Sagar appreciates her that he is very brave. He explains the meaning to her and smiles.

Later that day, Gangaa sets the table while Maharaj brings the food. Just then, the door bell rings. Maharaj sends Gangaa to see who is here. Gangaa receives an envelope. Maharaj asks her if it is urgent but she has no idea as she can't read. He tells her to keep it on the table and resume her work. She does as she is told. It is 2 pm. Madhvi gets a call from Raghav that an important courier was to come at home today and they are to be presented in the court but they are not here so he thought of checking at home. She denies. Raghav then ends the call. Maharaj comes to ask Madhvi about the dinner menu. She in turn asks him if a courier has come.

He tells her about the courier which Gangaa had received. She points out that it is mentioned on the courier that it is to be delivered as soon as possible to Niranjan. Maharaj says Gangaa had said that it is a letter. Amma asks him if Gangaa will decide what’s important or not in the house. She sends him to deliver it to Niranjan as soon as possible. Madhvi informs Raghav as well as the hearing is due in 10 minutes. Amma taunts Gangaa that she didn't share it intentionally as she is concerned only about her jewels and clothes and why would she (Gangaa) tell. Madhvi is tensed as they have very less time.

Niranjan asks for the documents from Raghav. But Maharaj is stuck in traffic. Niranjan decides to go to court without those papers only as it will be contempt of court otherwise. Maharaj reaches there just when Niranjan heads to the court. Maharaj is tensed.
Back at home, Maharaj narrates the entire incident to Amma and everyone. Amma is worried for her son as the papers are very important. Niranjan and Raghav come home just then. He scolds Madhvi for not sending the papers on time and that his hard work of months went for a toss in a minute. He angrily plead with her to atleast give them to him now. Maharaj gives it to him and Niranjan asks why didn't she (Madhvi) send them when they were delivered at the house and why did she take so much time?

He further asks if he didn't realise the urgency of it after looking at the envelope? Amma tells him to question the real culprit and not Madhvi. Amma bluntly tells her son that Gangaa is the one who was careless. Niranjan points out that they all were also at home at that time and further asks why are they blaming her then?. He turns to Madhvi and plead with her to take care of it the next time and if anything comes at home in his name then it should reach him at the very same time only. Madhvi nods. Gangaa watches everything from a distance. Both Niranjan and Raghav go inside. Amma finds his style weird and says the girl makes mistakes but he takes it out on everyone else instead. Everyone goes to do their work.

Gangaa holds the pillar tightly, trying to hide herself more, when Amma looks in her direction. Amma leaves. Sagar too notices Gangaa but runs in the opposite direction instead. Sagar comes to the kitchen to talk to his mother that his grandma is not sparing Gangaa at all and asks how would that poor girl understand the importance of the documents? He further tells his mother that he will tell everything to his father. Madhvi tells him against it as his father is already tensed, and him not to add up to his problems. Gangaa overhears this. Maharaj is taking the tea and snacks to Niranjan’s study but Sagar stops him not to even go before his  father right now as he (Maharaj) reached late in court so he will still be upset with him. Maharaj finds logic in his words and gives the tray to him. Sagar in turn gives the tray to Gangaa and advice her to tell everything to his father and say sorry as well. Gangaa nods.

Raghav tells Niranjan not to worry so much that they are prepared for their next hearing now atleast. Niranjan agrees that he shouted on Madhvi for no reason. Gangaa comes there with the tray. Raghav takes it from her. Niranjan and Gangaa look at each other. Gangaa apologizes to him that his work was hampered because of her mistake and he corrects her that it just got postponed for a while and it will all be fine. She is relieved and amazed. He smiles and lovingly pats at her cheek. He explains to Gangaa that she should have sent it to him as soon as possible as it was mentioned over the envelope. He realises that she doesn’t know how to read it. She tells him what little she can read. He asks her if she has ever gone to school.

Ganga denies and explain to  Niranjan that her father had registered her name in the village school but Niranjan tells Raghav to come with him right away. Gangaa looks on and confused.
At night, Amma is boiling milk. Gangaa comes there and she scolds Gangaa for creating so many problems at home as  Niranjan could have lost the case today because of her. Gangaa is about to go out to clean the prayer utensils when Niranjan stops her that he have to talk to her about something. He tells her to sit with him and says he had gone out with Raghav to make arrangements so she can study too. Amma is shocked as Niranjan decides to send Gangaa to get an education and she questions him about it.

She asks if he have extra money that he want to spend on her and further asks who will do her (Amma) work if she studies? She adds on that a widow has anyways nothing to do with studies and tell him to tell some priest to make her understand the scriptures somehow and that will be all. Niranjan says that will follow but Gangaa should study first and whatever happened today would not have happened if Gangaa knew how to study. Adding that education is as important as food in today’s time to survive and Gangaa will surely study. Amma is completely against it that Gangaa is always thinking differently and these studies will just add up to it and she won't let it happen. She won't let him do anything as per his wish. But Niranjan sticks to his point that no one can stop him this time and he won't listen to anyone on this matter and Gangaa will study. Amma is surprised and asks Niranjan if he is threatening her?

He denies that this is not a warning but it is just his opinion. Amma calls out for Madhvi and walks out of the room. She complains to her for the way Niranjan is talking to her and challenging her. Everyone else comes out too. Amma says when her own son is not listening to her then why would anyone else abide by her words. She is shouting really loudly. Niranjan tells her against it but in vain. They both continue to stick to their point of views. He talks about the importance of education while she refuses to let Gangaa study anything but scriptures and that he is comparing the girl to her grandsons?. He reasons that every child has a right to study and he won't agree to her (Amma) condition come what may and that Gangaa will study for sure.

Amma who is against the idea of her son sending Gangaa to school states that she will fast until Niranjan changes his decision. She will give up on food and water if he won’t agree with her. He leaves the choice on her and says it's all comes to the same thing in the end but this time he is not going to fall for her emotional blackmail. He leaves from there. Madhvi too follows him, trying to talk to him. Amma blames Gangaa for creating so many disturbances in their home and that she had predicted it long back. But she only will bear the sin of it all. She stares at Gangaa.

Madhvi tries to make Niranjan understand that his way of talking was not right and Amma would have been hurt. She adds that they too would have felt the same if it was Sagar or Pulkit in his place and he in Amma’s place. He too doesn’t like it but he knows that he is right. She reasons that Amma will take some time to change her outlook and her ideas are a little old for today. She further says he cannot wait for Amma to change her mentality and keep Gangaa at home till then (not studying). He asks what if she asks him this question when she grows up?. She says he could have been a little more soft and polite with her. And that they both got upset at the same time and refused to understand each other’s point of view and he know how stubborn she is.

But she is worried that she might try to put her words into action as she is old and her body is not strong in this age. She asks Niranjan what if something happens to her? He gets thinking.
Pulkit explains the logic behind his grandma’s words to Sagar and Gangaa that this will be an indefinite fast. Sagar knows that his father is very strict about studies and he never listens to anyone else on this matter and he won't even listen to his mother and asks what would happen then?. Gangaa runs out of the room suddenly.

Niranjan decides to talk to Amma tomorrow morning that he will try to be all calm and cool when he talk to her. Gangaa walks in and goes near Niranjan asking why is he fighting with Amma because of her? She tells Niranjan that Amma is right and asks who will help Amma if she will go to school and that the expenses would be too much, she request him to leave it. He tells her not to worry about the expenses as that is her job. She doesn’t want him to do anything that can upset Amma. He insists that it is his duty to help her and assures her that he will talk to Amma. Gangaa tells him to let it be, as it isn’t important for her to study. He asks her if there is something else too because of which she is saying so. Gangaa is all quiet and says Amma will stay hungry and eventually fall ill but she won't like it.

Madhvi says Amma was angry when she said all that. They won't sit back and watch it all quietly if she does anything like that. He again reassures her that everything will be fine by morning. She insists upon not going to school but he stops her and says everyone must study and she too should study like Sagar and Pulkit. He reminds her that her father too had registered her name in the school so why won't you go now? He further asks her to tell him the reason she doesn’t really want to study. Gangaa runs out of the room without telling anything to anyone. Niranjan is confused. Madhvi feels that maybe Gangaa is worried about the expenses which Amma had spoken about and maybe this is the reason why she is saying no.

Niranjan nods and says Gangaa loves her self respect and it might have hurt her or which kid would not like to go to school? While Ganga is sleeping is at night, she thinks of an incident in her sleep when her village teacher had beaten her on her hand with a stick when she had not written anything properly. She wakes up with a start and looks at her palm and pray to Hanuman to please save her that she don’t want to go to school as she remember everything that the village master used to beat her a lot with the stick. She pray to be save her that she don’t want to go through all that again and she will be saved only when Niranjan listens to Amma.

Amma notices her awake and asks why didn't she sleep yet? She then asks Gangaa if she is not happy that her son fought with his mother because of her and these fights have started in the house since she have come to their house. She adds on that there is a new fight every day and everyone keeps supporting her only so she is stubborn and God knows when she will change for good. She tells him to sleep now. Gangaa nods. Amma thinks of Niranjan’s words.

The Next morning, Amma returns from Gangaa snan. She tells maharaj to bring prayer thaal for her. Madhvi too readies a plate full of fruits for her. She shows them the plate. Amma steps forward to check the plate but stops as she recalls her vow. She asks if she is trying to over smart her and further asks if she was trying to make a joke of her by breaking her indefinite fast. Madhvi suggests her not to give up food or water in this age. Amma cuts her off midsentence that she don’t want any suggestion from her and instruct her to explain the right and wrong to her husband. Madhvi goes upstairs. As Gangaa helps Amma in drying the laundry and she thinks of an idea. She asks Amma if she will read Ramayan for her and promise to learn it quickly as her father had made her learn the aarti in a similar manner and she used to sing it daily.

She adds on that Amma is right and there is no need to go to school. Amma replies that she is always right but she never listen to her and asks what happened to her today?. Gangaa says she abide by whatever she say. She brings Prasad for Amma. Amma thinks that she too wants her to break her fast as she is all alone. Gangaa insists that she is on her side but Amma refuses to fall in her words. Gangaa actually wants Niranjan to agree with her and clearly state that she don’t want to study. Amma murmurs that the one who should they worried must be pacing angrily in his room.

Madhvi informs Niranjan about Amma sticking to her words and he should go and talk to her and convince her as she wont listen to her. She adds that Amma wants her son to come and talk to her. He knows that his mother is waiting for him only and it is easier to make kids agree and understand things but that is not the case with Amma. He gives his phone to Madhvi, asking her to try Raghav’s number as he is not able to get through.

While Amma is reading Ramayan. She looks towards the door in between hoping that her son Niranjan will comes to her. Ganga knows that she is waiting for Niranjan but Amma denies. Just then, Niranjan comes there and Gangaa notices him. She is about to tell Amma when he signals her against it. He very quietly walks inside and holds Amma's shoulder. She immediately tries to focus on the Ramayana but then gets up from there when he doesn’t let go of her. He signals Gangaa to wait outside. Gangaa prays that Amma should do something that will prompt Niranjan sir to listen to her as she don’t want to go to school.

Niranjan explain to his mother Amma that he is a father of two kids and it won't look good if he do sit ups before her in this age and she can tell him any other punishment that she have in mind. Amma blunt out that she is no one to say anything to him. She repeats her vow but he refuses to let anything happen to his beloved Amma. She refuses to open her mouth so he decides to transfer food in her body through drips or any other medical way. She denies. He makes up his mind to feed her something first and then only will he listen to whatever she has to say. Gangaa points out to him that the fruits and milk is in kitchen. He goes out to bring them. Amma looks at Gangaa and asks if she is enjoying it?.

Niranjan happily tells Maharaj to get the plate as Amma has agreed to eat. Madhvi gives him his phone that Raghav is on the line. He tells him that the judge has met with an accident and he is here only. He needs B+ blood and Niranjan blood group is the same. Niranjan agrees and leaves for City Hospital. Maharaj gives the plate to Madhvi.
