Plan to recall Andy Ubah, a blackmail by faceless group — Obi

A media aide to senator Andy Ubah,  Barr. Uchem Obi has said that the  purported plan to recall the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial zone, is being orchestrated by a 'faceless and selfish group'.

A group, the Dynamic Youth Organisation (DYO) had called for the recall of Senator Uba over alleged infractions, including falsification of academic qualifications.

Obi in a statement in Awka, yesterday, said the group was visionless and not motivated by any desire for common good, but for selfish aggrandisement, adding that it had allegedly made a u-turn by asking for audience with the embattled senator.

 “As we revealed when they first began their empty noise, they represent nothing but fraud. They are constantly searching for avenues to get close to unsuspecting members, especially successful members of the political class.”

“Why are they secretly seeking audience with Sen. Andy Uba after making empty noise that they were recalling him from the senate? What is stopping them from recalling him?” he asked.
