Enugu Rangers defeat MFM in rescheduled game, move out of relegation

Enugu Rangers defeated MFM FC 2-0 in a rescheduled #matchday30 of Nigeria Professional Football League clash today.

The game was abandoned in the second half on Wednesday due to a heavy down pour and water logged pitch.

Chiamaka Madu scored Rangers' first goal in the 15th minute.

In the restart of the game, Ifeanyi George doubled Rangers' lead from the penalty spot in the  47th minute after he was fouled inside the box.

Despite the defeat, MFM retain their second spot in the table  with 49 points , five adrift of leaders Plateau United and the win for Rangers took them from 17th position to 14th on 39 points in the table.
