PHOTOS: Justice for Anambra man killed in South Africa as killer gets 58 years imprisonment

Late Paul Achike, a native of Ozubulu in Ekwusigo L.G.A, Anambra State was shot in Johannesburg, South Africa earlier last year.

His corpse was received on the 7th of April 2016 at Enugu International Airport. He finally got justice after a long legal battle.

The killer Mr Dladla, from Kwazulu–Natal, Durban, South Africa has been convicted and sentenced to 58 years in prison.

Here is the breakdown of the court judgment

10 years for malicious damage to property(motor vehicle).

8 years for possession of unlicenced ammunition.

15 years for possession of unlicenced firearm.

25 years for murdering  Mr Paul Achike.

Total of 58years imprisonment.

Before, the death of Paul Achike, there were spate of killings of Ozubulu people in South Africa in late 2015/early 2016 which many believed was a drug war between two cartels.

Obinna Ebuzeme ( he had fixed his Traditional marriage to be held on  2nd January, 2016 but didn't live up to that date)

Nchedo Onyeka  (wife of President of Ozubulu Development Union, South Africa). The gunmen came looking for the husband but shot her when they couldn't locate him.

Nonso Foster Ikedinobi a.k.a Snoop (The CEO of Vivala Bam Oil and Vacamata Café) and many others.

They were all murdered in cold blood by unknown gunmen in South Africa.

May their souls continue to rest in peace, Amen!
