Burglar Still On The Run After An Unsuccessful Attempt In Ukpor

 A burglar who attempted to rob some houses at Ogene village Ukpor is still on the run after an unsuccessful outing on Sunday while the villagers were at their various worshipping centers.


According to an eye witness, the bulglar came through Umuhu with a motorcycle popularly known as "kymco ladies" and immediately started ransacking some houses when some passersby noticed a suspicious movement and alerted the local vigilante group.

An eye witness told our reporter that the security men swung into action immediately to apprehend the hoodlum but was unsuccessful when he abandoned his vehicle and escaped through the bush. There's an unconfirmed report that he was shot in the leg while trying to escape by the security men.

Meanwhile, the members of Nigerian Police Force later arrived the scene and took the vehicle to the police station. They equally promised to arrest the hoodlum as soon as possible.
