Monday January 29 Update On “Modern Homemaker”

At the police station, Kanhaiya’s senior officer says that this means Sona had caught the thief that night but Radha lied to her that the thief was someone else. Kanhaiya says that Radha had made use of Sona’s innocence but the truth is finally out. Suhnaina asks to give Radha a heavy punishment so that she don’t repeat this again. Radha cries that upon her kids, she will not steal again and who will look after her kids without any parents? Sona is tearing and the senior officer says that Radha should have thought of all this before stealing and nothing is going to happen by her crying.

Kanhaiya says look Radha, you made a mistake and you need a punishment. And about your children, we will send them to a welfare home so that they can grow up there and you will not need to worry about them. Kanhaiya’s officer congratulate Kanhaiya and asks him to join back his duty and Suhnaina is happy. Sona is happy for Kanhaiya and is feels sad for Radha as Radha is taken back. Kanhaiya returns home where everyone is waiting for him and Udham congratulate Kanhaiya for getting back his job and also catching the thief. Everyone praises Kanhaiya that they are lucky to have such a police officer like Kanhaiya in their colony. Sona recalls Radha’s children crying for Radha. Suhnaina proudly says that she have always thought her children not to give up. Kanhaiya and the rest is about to enter the house and Kanhaiya looks back and sees Sona in her world thinking back about Radha crying on who would look after her children. Sona thinks to herself what would she do where one side she is happy for Kanhaiya getting back his job and on the other hand, two kids will be away from their mother.

Kanhaiya asks where is Sona lost and this victory is not only his but also Sona’s. Kanhaiya asks isn’t Sona happy about this and Sona says of course she is but she is worried about Radha’s children. Kanhaiya says that Radha should have thought of this before stealing and doesn’t means if she stops stealing, she is not a thief. A person who does mistake needs punishment and Sona thinks what is Radha’s children’s mistake in this. Neelam is sad in her room and a paper flies away from her hands and Udham walks in and picks up the paper. Udham says that Neelam should not give up easily and Neelam says that she saw a hope that she can finally do something but she lost hope once Radha went to jail. Udham says that nothing has ended and i still have faith in you and never give up. Udham also says that he is happy that Neelam wants to do something in life.

Kanhaiya asks Sona to stay here and Suhnaina says if she sits here, Suhnaina will come looking for her. Kanhaiya asks if Sona knows what is it tomorrow and Sona is thinking what is it on the next day. Sona don’t seem to remember and Kanhaiya says how will you remember as all you think about is how to maintain a distance with me and get closer with mummy ji. Sona smiles and walks from behind and whispers in Kanhaiya’s ears that tomorrow will be one year since they got married and Kanhaiya gets happy and carry her in happiness. Kanhaiya says he is happy she remembered and he had so much of plans to do this and do that while Sona gets shy and is about to leave while Kanhaiya holds Sona’s saree and Saans song plays in the background as both Kanhaiya and Sona looks at each another. Kanhaiya slowly pulls Sona towards him with her saree and they share an eyelock.

Kanhaiya takes her saree and puts over her head and slowly goes closer to kiss Sona and Sona tries to leave but Kanhaiya hugs her from the back and Sona smiles. Suhnaina comes in and sees both Sona and Kanhaiya hugging and Sona moves away and Kanhaiya pretends to be reading a book. Suhnaina stares at them and leaves while both Kanhaiya and Sona looks at each another and laughs and they hug each another. Sona says mummy ji will come and Sona runs away and Kanhaiya looks at the calendar saying all this wait will end soon. Julie keeps looking at her phone thinking that Avinash’s phone would be off as usual and decides to give Avinash a missed call. Avinash calls Julie and Julie cuts the call. Avinash calls again and Julie slowly goes to a corner and answers the call where Julie says that she called to say sorry to Avinash. Avinash asks Julie to never say sorry to him and Julie asks why is that so and Avinash says goodnight and cuts the call.

Sona quietly comes to the police station and Radha stares at Sona. Radha says look at me Sona ji, you are the cause of my situation. I had done many theft and never got caught. But you caught me. Now what will happen to my children and what will they do without me and i will never forgive you and Sona wakes up up shouting.

Suhnaina asks what happened and if she had a bad dream and asks her to pray before sleeping. Sona recalls Radha’s words and is worried. The next day morning, Suhnaina says why is Sona taking so long to prepare the meal and Sona says its being done. Kanhaiya brings a pandit ji and says he is going to do a pooja for Kanhaiya and Sona’s planets. Suhnaina asks what is Kanhaiya trying to prove? Kanhaiya says that since Suhnaina said that there are problems in both Kanhaiya and Sona’s kundli, he brought the pandit ji to do a prayers and all the problems will be solved. Sona smiles and Kanhaiya asks Sona to come. The pandit ji ties a sacred string for Kanhaiya and ties for Sona as well which Suhnaina looks.

The priest ties a sacred string for Sona which Suhnaina watches and stares. Bindiya is saying to Renu that all the pandit ji’s are only like this where they make use of other’s weakness and Renu wonders how come Suhnaina is yet to say anything about this and Bindiya says if Suhnaina opens her mouth, all the truth would come out. Suhnaina looks unhappy and both Kanhaiya and Suhnaina takes the panditji’s blessings. The pandit ji leaves and Kanhaiya says that he have a request from Suhnaina and Suhnaina asks what is it? Kanhaiya says that he and Sona have been married for a year now, so why don’t all of them go out for dinner today and Sona smiles while Suhnaina is unhappy. Julie is studying and Chicku comes to Julie showing a magazine on which is her favourite mobile as he will buy for her once he grows up and Julie hugs Chicku. Kanhaiya’s constables brings Radha’s son and daughter saying they wanted to meet Sona, so he had brought them here and everyone is shocked. Sona walks to the kids asking what happened and Radha’s daughter give some money and asks Sona to take it and return her mother to them. Both the children’s are crying and falls at Sona’s feet and Sona asks them to get up and asks them to stop crying.

Kanhaiya says don’t cry and let me tell you something. You mother could not come today but she will return to you very soon. Radha’s son asks if Kanhaiya arrested Radha and Sona looks at Kanhaiya. Radha’s daughter and son scolds Kanhaiya that he is bad and to return their mother. Suhnaina says that they can’t return their mother and asks them to leave. Sonaiya look at each another and Sona looks at the crying children and wipes her tears. Sona says that they are kids and why are you talking to them like this? Suhnaina says so you will teach me how to talk? Don’t forget that i’m your saas and your my bahu. Sona says i didn’t meant that and Suhnaina says these kids don’t even know how to talk to elderly people. Take my words, these kids will be a thief like their mother. Sona says why are you speaking like this in front of kids and Bindiya supports Suhnaina while Kanhaiya supports Sona that Suhnaina should not speak to the kids like this. Suhnaina says that she will keep quiet and Radha’s daughter asks Sona if her mother is really a thief and she won’t come back? Kanhaiya says i will bring you to a place today where they have many other kids for you to play and have fun with. Sona walks away and enters her room and quietly calls to her dadi. Suhnaina is waiting in her room saying that Sona is just like her dadi.

In Sona’s room, Sona is busy selecting a saree to wear and wonders why is she panicking? Sona thinks to herself that she is so nervous and tries calming down herself. Kanhaiya returns back home and Kanhaiya is also feeling nervous and Kanhaiya enters. Kanhaiya goes to the kitchen where Neelam is cooking and Neelam asks if Kanhaiya has anything? Kanhaiya says no and Neelam says that Sona had gone to get ready and Kanhaiya says that he will return back late tonight. Neelam says that she shall keep the food in the fridge instead. Neelam teases Kanhaiya and Kanhaiya gets shy.
Neelam asks what is Kanhaiya holding on his hands and Kanhaiua hides it and says nothing and leaves. Govardan is saying to Manohar that everyone is having a phone these days and due to that, people have started sending less letters. Kanhaiya is walking and Govardan stops Kanhaiya asks if is it true that Kanhaiya had booked a hotel for him and Sona which Kanhaiya smiles and keeps quiet. Manohar says if you want to know about our experience, you can ask us and Govardan says that he can share his experience since he is elder than Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya says thanks for everything but he will handle this.

Manohar notices the bag in Kanhaiya’s hand and asks what is it in the bag and Kanhaiya tries hiding it while Govardan grabs it and sees a saree. Manohar says saree? I thought it was something else and you can leave. Kanhaiya goes upstairs which Suhnaina watches. Kanhaiya enters his room and Sona says you came back? I was just wondering which saree to wear, let me go and change. Kanhaiya says listen to me. If you don’t mind, i brought a saree for you and you can wear it if you like it. Sona says you did a good thing as i could not decide which saree to wear and Sona touches Kanhaiya’s hand and they both share an eyelock with Tum Ho plays in the background. Sona’s phone rings which Sona looks. Kanhaiya is all prepared and waiting for Sona outside the house and Sona comes saying sorry for being late.

Kanhaiya says that we are getting let, lets faster leave and both Sona and Kanhaiya leaves on his bike. Sona is holding Kanhaiya’s shoulder and Kanhaiya says how many times have i asked you not to hold my shoulder and hold put your hands around my waist instead. Sona holds Kanhaiya’s waist and Kanhaiya starts laughing. Kanhaiya and Sona arrives at a beach and Sona asks what happened? Kanhaiya says i will tell you. Kanhaiya says that why don’t they talk their heart out today? Kanhaiya talks about falling in love where two people become as one Sona is the love of his heart. Suhnaina asks Neelam where is Sona and Kanhaiya and Neelam says that both of them have left to the hotel and Suhnaina is unhappy.

Kanhaiya and Sona arrives at a beach and Sona asks what happened? Kanhaiya says i will tell you. Kanhaiya holds Sona’s hands saying he had always waited for her and Sona had always stood by him in good and bad and she never broken his trust. Kanhaiya says that Sona completes his life and he always wants to leave everything and come to Sona because the happiness he gets to be with her, he don’t get with anyone else. Sona listens to everything with a smile and impressed with Kanhaiya. Kanhaiya says that Sona always gives him strength and Sona will not feel embarrassed with him anytime. Kanhaiya continues that his day is not complete if he don’t even talk to her once because he loves her. Kanhaiya holds Sona’s Saree pallu and Sona keeps looking at Kanhaiya where Kanhaiya says that Sona is not just his wife but also his friend and girlfriend. Sona is almost in tears to listen to all this and Kanhaiya is also close to tearing. Kanhaiya says that no one can come in between of them and Sona holds Kanhaiya’s face saying enough and starts crying while hugging Kanhaiya and Tum Ho song plays.

Sona looks at Kanhaiya and Kanhaiya kisses Sona’s forehead and wipes her tears. Sona and Kanhaiya arrives at the hotel and Sona is about to open the room door and Kanhaiya asks Sona to keep her eyes closed saying its a suprise and Kanhaiya blindfolds Sona with a cloth.

Sona holds Kanhaiya’s hands and Kanhaiya opens the door where the room is decorated with flowers and candles light. Sona is mesmerized and looks at the whole room. Kanhaiya carries Sona in his arms and Sona holds Kanhaiya’s face and carries her and places Sona on the bed. Kanhaiya throws flower petals on Sona and Sona smiles while Kanhaiya sits next to Sona with a rose in his hands. Kanhaiya starts kissing Sona face and moves slowly to Sona’s lips and someone rings the door bell. Kanhaiya says who could it be while i said do not disturb. Kanhaiya opens the door and is shocked to see Suhnaina . Kanhaiya says you mummyji? Suhnaina enters the room and closes the door while looking at all the decorations in the room.

Suhnaina says that she feels bad to come like this but she had to come to reveal Sona’s true face. Sona is shocked and Kanhaiya asks what is Suhnaina saying about? Suhnaina nods and walks towards Sona and says you don’t know Kanhaiya what your wife is doing. She knew earlier that Radha was the thief and she even hide this from you to save Radha. Kanhaiya laughs that this is not possible as he knows Sona well and Suhnaina would have been mistaken. Suhnaina says that she herself heard Sona’s conversation with her dadi.

*Flashback*
Sona calls to Dad saying she needs a help from Dadi. Sona says about Radha which is mute and asks Dadi to help *End of Flashback*.

Sona is shocked covering her mouth and Kanhaiya says he can’t believe this at all. He can’t believe that Sona would do this to him and Suhnaina says that she knows he would not trust her. That’s why she brought proof since she is a police officer’s mother.

Suhnaina asks did Kanhaiya knew where Sona went when he was waiting for her on the motorbike? Suhnaina says that Sona went to meet Radha and she suspected Sona and followed Sona. She also recorded what Radha spoke to Sona. Suhnaina plays the recorder where Radha’s voice says that she will never forget Sona’s help and her children will always pray for her. Sona says to Radha that this should be the last time they meet and Suhnaina is shown hiding and recording their conversation. Sona asks Radha to be happy with her kids and a housewife must always be in the right track. Kanhaiya says he still can’t believe this and says how could Sona cheat him? Suhnaina says if you don’t believe, call to the police station and find out if is Radha still there or not? Kanhaiya searches for his phone and Sona says stop, there is no need to call as Mummy ji is saying the truth. Kanhaiya looks at Sona in disbelief.

Kanhaiya says Sona ji? You lied to me? How is this possible? Suhnaina says the decision is now in your hands and i don’t wish to stay between a husband and wife. Suhnaina gives a winning stare to Sona and leaves looking at Sona with a slight smile and shuts the door. Writen Update by Visha_Dhami. Kanhaiya is upset and Sona walks to Kanhaiya saying listen and Kanhaiya says enough! This is not a small thing and i will never forgive you for this! Sona starts crying saying listen to me and Kanhaiya shouts that i will not listen to anything. I listen to you but you lied to me. Sona tries to explain while Kanhaiya starts destroying all the decorations and warns Sona not to speak to him.
