Tuesday December 12th Update On “Lies Of The Heart” Episode 220 - 221

Samrat on the other hand feels that he has done the right thing by targeting Urmi's weakest point, that is her son Shaurya. He thinks that if he doesn't bring Urmi down to her kness, he would change his name, and that she may escape all she wants, he has his aim at her, and when the aim doesn't hit directly, he has to look sideways, and that Shaurya would make him win this battle against him, and make her bow down to him. He evilly thinks that Shaurya thinks that he had this ace card in Shaurya all along, and now he would use it to the fullest advantage, in registering his win against her. Samrat is now sure that Urmi will come back to his house in search for Shaurya.

At Sushma’s residence, Sushmaji and her husband are angry that their son, who had been neglecting them since the past many years has suddenly decided to come and meet them. While Mr Tiwari tries to convince his wife Sushma to let bygones be bygones, while she is angry and adamant that she wont talk to him. Urmi comes in saying that Sushma is right in being angry on the son, who is the apple of her eye, and compares herself to Sushma saying that she can understand what they are going through as she too had missed Shaurya when she had been far from him. She adds that even in all this anger, Sushma’s love for her son is somewhere silhouetted. Sushma gets emotional but then composes herself, and leaves in a hush. Urmi smiles at Mr Tiwari.

At Samrat’s residence, Diwaker compliments Mandira on her good result. As Samrat descends down, Shashi asks where is he going so early. Samrat says that he is going to work. Mandira tries to imitate and tease Samrat, while all are amused. Shashi shuts her up. Mandira leaves for school with Mukti. Samrat eyes her going, and then gives them the best of wishes, that Mandira is over smart. Shashi asks him to sit and eat. Samrat refuses and then gives Diwaker his appointment letter, while Diwaker is baffled, and asks when did he join. Samrat says that he went yesterday for the meeting and hence has joined. Before Diwaker can answer, Samrat leaves. Kanchan asks how can he be so street smart. Shashi asks her to shut up, while Diwaker expresses his frustration at Samrat’s mad dash. Rudra too supports him. Shashi tries to tell Rudra and Diwaker that Samrat needs his own people, and tries to calm Diwaker and get him to agree, but Diwaker firmly refuses. Shashi asks him to do it till he gets another job, and that it's good for both the brothers. Kanchan asks him not to join, while Shashi asks her not to create a rift between the brothers, and then asks Diwaker to think with a peaceful mind, and do it till he gets another job. Diwaker stays silent, while Shashi is happy.

Later at Shaurya’s school, Samrat stands anxiously in front of Shaurya's school but does not see Urmi and Shaurya arriving at the school. He starts getting impatient, as to why they didn't come. Samrat assumes that Urmi has not brought Shaurya to school, as she fears him and is boastful of his effect on Urmi, and that Shaurya should have been sent to school, and decides to call Urmi, to find her scared state. He calls Urmi on phone and about his son, while Shaurya is asleep, that she got so scared last night, that she didn't even send her son to school today. He starts taunting her for having retreated from the battle ground, explaining how important it is for Shaurya to attend school, and she can't let her scare from her husband, come in the way for her child’s education. Urmi hears tensedly and asks him if he even realises in his ego, what his son is going through. He asks if her ego hurt her son’s health and that due to their tussle yesterday, Shaurya got sick, and clarifies why she didn't send Shaurya to school, as he is sick, and not because she got scared. He is shocked as he finds out that his son has not come to the school as he is not well. Urmi tells him that even though it won't be of any use, but still advises him to understand the psychological trauma that Shaurya is going through, and asks him not to put his son in that state at least for the sake of being his father. She requests him not to drag their son in all this and not play with his innocence as he is too small. She disconnects the call.

Meanwhile in the hospital, Aditi goes to a clinic to get her pregnancy report after going for a routine checkup, and is told by the doctor that she and the baby are completely fine. She leaves the chamber. Urmi too is in the same hospital with Shaurya, after they saw the doctor and just when Aditi is leaving the clinic she bumps into Urmi there and she gets scared. She asks about Aditi and her health. Aditi tries to leave from there. As Urmi chats with Aditi, the nurse comes and hands Aditi the prescription and some medicine that she had absentmindedly left the Doctor’s chamber, saying that these pills are very important for her and her baby. Urmi is surprised to hear this as she finds out that Aditi is pregnant. Aditi is tensed that her truth came out in front of her. Urmi happily asks Aditi if she is pregnant. She says that Urmi shouldn't tell this to Samrat, and explains the reason behind it, and how she can't lose this baby. Urmi is shocked as she also learns that Samrat had tries to force his sister to abort the baby. She supports Aditi, saying that giving birth is entirely her right. Aditi says that no one understands her. Urmi extends her fullest support and care for her, if she ever needs anything. Aditi smiles and hugs her.

At Samrat’s residence, Samrat storms in angrily demanding why didn't Diwaker go to office today. Diwaker asks where is he, as he didn't join. Samrat says that he gave him his appointment letter, and that he should have joined, and starts recounting the loss that happened as he didn't reach the office. Diwaker says that he is not responsible for his work, and not for his loss either. Samrat says that he is, as his meeting was lined up, and he didn't reach. Kanchan tries to speak, but Samrat asks her to shut up and stay out of it. Samrat says that he won't listen to anything, and says that Diwaker would have to be accountable for his loss. All are shocked. Shashi tries to make him understand. Samrat shuts her up. Rudra asks him not to become so arrogant. Samrat says that Diwaker is never wrong. Diwaker says that he would join as per his wishes, but asks what would be his salary. Samrat says that now he is talking, and says that he would give him 60000, 10000 more than his last job. Shashi is happy. Diwaker asks him to double it up, demanding 120000 per month, and asks him to think it over, while Samrat stands speechless. Diwaker leaves. Samrat starts venting out his frustration at him, in front of the entire family, saying that he doesn't deserve this at all, and that he won't ever pay Diwaker this much. He walks out in anger. All are tensed.

At the hospital, Aditi tries to make Urmi understand as to how amrit has turned over a new leaf, due to her and their baby and is willing to take responsibility of his family. Urmi is unconvinced and says that till the time, she doesn't talk to Amrit, she won't be convinced and that she may not be related to Samrat, but she won't let Aditi take the risk before being fully sure herself of Amrit’s intentions. Aditi agrees to make her meet Amrit soon. Urmi smiles.

Urmi later goes to meet her and Amrit at a restaurant. Adidti excuses herself to go to the washroom, leaving Amrit visibly tensed to be alone with Urmi. Urmi asks him to talk, while he says that he is very thankful that she came here to meet him, and that it's a big deal for him that she came here, despite all the crimes that he has done against her and her family. Samrat, in his car, from a distance, finds urmi and amrit talking to each other in a restaurant, and then sees Amrit taking Urmi’s hands and pleadingly saying something. He gets angry when he sees Amrit holding Urmi's hands and immediately gets concerned, as to what his two enemies are doing together and whether they are plotting against him, becoming friends. Amrit apologises to Urmi profusely. Samrat immediately jumps to conclusions as he thinks that Urmi is engaging in adultery, with his enemy, and her sister in-law’s husband.

Samrat pulls the car to a halt, and steps out. Amrit meanwhile, apologises to Urmi for doing what he did, and gives her the credit, that he wants to change over a new leaf. Aditi too starts approaching them, oblivious that Samrat too is coming. Urmi warns Amrit that this time, he shouldn't even think of any malicious intentions or harming Aditi, as she won't bear it. Urmi asks what's Amrit is doing these days for earning. Amrit says that he has business planned for Dhaba, and got the inspiration from her only, trying to impress her, and taking her hand over his head, asking for her blessing that he may establish himself with his family. Just then, Samrat comes in front of Urmi and Amrit and starts clapping in front of them. Urmi takes away her hand.

Amrit is scared. Samrat begins to insult them and he accuses Urmi of trying to indulge in a new relationship with his enemy. He accuses them of together plotting against him. Aditi immediately hides when she sees Samrat. Samrat reprimandingly asks what was happening. Urmi is shocked at his taunts. The crowd gathers. Samrat asks them to calm down, and Urmi asks why is he bothered what's happening. Samrat lashes out at her, and reprimands her to talk nicely. Urmi tries to stop Samrat from speaking in such an insulting manner and asks what's his problem and how can he even think so low of her. She further asks him to stop insinuating but Samrat goes on without stopping and asks her to tell the truth, while continuing to insult both of them. Amrit is amused. Samrat taunts Urmi that she finally realised that she did need a man hence resorted to him. Amrit starts reprimanding him and he grabs Amrit by the collar. Urmi asks him to let Amrit go, and asks what's he doing. Samrat is shocked that she is siding with him, as a lover should. Samrat asks that she couldn't bear to see her lover getting beaten by her husband. Urmi asks him to shut up, as his thinking is way below. Samrat asks her to accept that they are having an affair, and is involving in promiscuity. Urmi asks him to stop this nonsense. Amrit too reprimands him. Samrat says that she is having double face, that she is committing adultery, when she left him for the same reason. He warns her that she would expose this side of her to the whole world. He leaves in a huff. Amrit laments at his thinking. Aditi comes from hiding and apologises for having to bear all this. Amrit starts reprimanding Samrat in front of Aditi, and taunting Samrat for doing what he did to Urmi. Urmi stands tensed. Amrit finds them both tensed, and thinks that this would play to his favour.

Later at Samrat’s residence, Samrat goes to his house, he calls for Aditi and is told by his family members that Aditi is not at home. He gets angry hearing that she is out all the time. They are tensed as to what Samrat has to say, particularly in front of Aditi. Just then, Aditi arrives. Samrat asks where Aditi was. She says that she had some work. He then tells Aditi about his latest evil, and informs Aditi and  his entire family about Amrit and his illicit affair with Urmi. All are shocked, while Aditi is tensed. But, Samrat's entire family support Urmi and do not agree with him. It starts with his father Rudra, who asks him to think before he speaks. Even Aditi who is aware of the truth refuses to agree with her brother's accusations and asks him to not think such bad things. She says that she has faith on Urmi, that she can't do all this. Kanchan too supports her. Rudra asks him to think too, as a woman’s greatest asset is her character. Samrat says that he is not mad, and that he should have clicked their picture. Shashi favours Samrat as usual. Samrat starts lamenting that Urmi has crossed all limits, and she chose Amrit over Samrat himself. Samrat vents out his anger at his mother Shashi, when she starts ranting as usual. Samrat says that he won't bear that Urmi gets linked to anyone else, and that she can't leave him, and he would distort her face so bad that she won't be able to walk out in public. Aditi is tensed hearing this.

Later at Sushma’s residence, Sushma continues to bicker about his unforeseen expenses, with her husband, when Shaurya comes in hollering for Sushma, and asks her to check if she has fever. Sushma asks him to get his mother to do it. Shaurya says that his is not here, and hence asks her to check it. She frustratedly checks it and says that he doesn't have fever. Tiwari is amused. But when Shaurya asks him about their cold drink plan, he is tensed. He is scared that his truth is out in front of Sushma. He says that Shaurya is just playing pranks. Sushma asks him not to be too naughty. Urmi comes in, and Sushma asks where did she go, leaving them to take care of her son. Urmi asks Sushma if he did anything wrong. But Shaurya himself says that he didn't, and they are shocked at his wit.

Later, Urmi goes to the market to get medicine and other stuff, leaving Shaurya in the house. Meanwhile, Sushma’s husband gets busy in arranging his son’s room, for his arrival. Just then, Shaurya walks in with his car and says that he didn't even see this room. Her husband starts chatting, when Sushma walks in asking what's he doing here. He tries to say that it's a routine cleaning. But Sushma says that she knows he is cleaning a room for Ravi. He says that Ravi would have to stay somewhere, hence he cleared this up. She leaves frustratedly. Shaurya says that it's good that someone is coming, so that he has a companion. Just then, Ravi, their son has made his entry in India, and comes to the locality, as usual complaing of the pullution and garbage, that NRI’s do. Urmi is passing by and he hollers at her. Her handkerchief falls down and she sprays it around. He says that he is looking for Mr. Tiwari.

Urmi meets Sushmaji's son who has just arrived in India and identifies him as Mr Tiwari son. She asks if he has already forgotten his own address, and this just shows that he is a lowlife. As he starts getting frustrated, she goes onto give him a lecture about what he did. He says that he doesn't know anything. She says that she does. He is shocked and silenced. She asks him what could be worse than his betrayal, as to how he left his own father almost on his death bed, where he only had his wife to take care of him, and needed him the most, and he turned his back to them. Urmi further tells him that he must have learnt a lesson that he reap what he sow, and hopes that he too doesn't have to see his own child treating him like that one day. She leaves while Mr Tiwari's son is tensed.
