[PHOTOS] Governor Willie Obiano Arrives Nnewi South Amidst Cheers

The governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano arrived Ukpor, the headquarters of Nnewi South L.G.A today for his reelection campaign flag off amidst cheers and accolades.

The people of Nnewi South trouped out en masse to welcome the number one citizen of the state who is contesting under the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).

Speaking at the event, the Transition Committee Chairman of the local government, Engr. Felix Odimegwu (Omus) commended the governor for “all he has done for the local government and the State generally.”

According to Omus, Anambra State is in safe hand with Willie Obiano as the governor. He, therefore urged the masses to vote APGA massively come November 18 gubernatorial election in the State.

He also informed the governor about the interest of the people of Nnewi South come 2022 when he'll hand over to a governorship candidate from Anambra South senatorial district if he eventually wins the upcoming election.

Also speaking, the Director General of Willie Obiano campaign organization, Chief Victor Umeh urged the masses to vote massively for Obiano citing some of the things he reportedly did for different towns in the local government and promised that all the ongoing projects will be concluded as soon as the rain subsides.

However, there was a little disagreement between Umeh and the masses when he mentioned Mbosi-Azia-Ukpor road as an ongoing project......

The campaign organization also donated 6,000 bags of 10kg rice and N2 million to the LG.

Below are some of the photos from the event.
