Boko Haram Terrorists Attack Police Station, Military Base In Yobe. A resident said attackers stormed the town chanting Allahu Akbar

A suspected members of the Boko Haram yesterday attacked police station  and military base killing  seven persons  in Kanama, the headquarters of Yunusari local government area of Yobe State, LEADERSHIP gathered.

Residents reported the attacks on Kanama.

A resident said attackers stormed the town chanting Allahu Akbar meaning Allah is the greater, killing people, snatching pure water bags, bags of sugar, rice, milk and foodstuffs and forcing many residents to flee into the bush for safety.

Others residents who spoke to LEADERSHIP on phone, urged the federal and state governments to do more to end incessant attacks on the villages across the state.

Buba Isa, a businessman in the town said that the suspected Boko Haram members were in the town from around 5:15pm to 9:20am.  


He called for military posts in the surrounding villages. He also faulted the deployment of soldiers to the state capital while the suspected Boko Haram members are active in villages around the state.
